Wild Doxies

As reported by Phoenixtail Weasel was gone on a work-related trip for most of a week.  Beautiful complained upon his return that Mikkey and Abbie sat by the door every morning waiting for him to return.  Apparently this made Beautiful feel not fully appreciated.

Within days of his return Phoenixtail came down with a cold and lovingly shared it with Weasel.  What began as a cold eventually resulted in a bronchial infection. Ugh!  Luckily this did allow Mikkey and Abbie a great deal of catch-up time with Weasel while they tried boosting his immune system with licks to the face.  Weasel has no idea why getting licked in the face is supposed to help cure a cold but both doxies seemed convinced it was the appropriate remedy.  Because of (or perhaps in spite of) their tireless efforts Weasel is well on his way to being healthy again.  Unfortunately, Beautiful now believes that he smells of dog breath and refuses to be anywhere near him.
