Mikkey alias “Thor” and his first mama

After losing Zoey the entire family was depressed and it didn’t take long for us to go searching for another dachshund. Not finding any puppies in the local area a much wider net was thrown, all the way to Minnesota. (That’s right not only does Mikkey have the muscular body of the norse god Thor he also comes from the Norseland of the U.S. as well) This is one of the first photos we saw of Mikkey and it made quite an impression on Beautiful - she simply had to have him. Dacshund puppies are so cute before their noses “pop out” and Mikkey is as cute a doxie pup as you would likely ever find. Now if we could get him to stop licking he might be the perfect dog.
