Dachshunds save strange water creature

On a recent outing to the Oregon Coast (specifically Lincoln City) Mikkey and Abbie came across a very strange creature. Being good and noble dachshunds they immediately checked to make sure the creature was alright and that nothing would attempt to harm it. In this picture Mikkey takes his turn monitering the creature while Abbie keeps an eye out for trouble.
