Dachshund Reduced to Manual Labor
This weekend brought a flurry of activity in Wild Doxie land. A decision was made to paint the kitchen walls and cabinets and that brought about major upheavel. Abbie does not care for upheavel as it tends to interfere with her napping and takes her people’s attention away from what’s really important - HER. On Saturday the family sanded, painted, and otherwise made life miserable for our heroine as she did her best to struggle through only requesting to be held and reassured once every 20-30 minutes. By the time Sunday came she was so distressed she actually chose to pitch a hand - or in this case a tail - to help get the project done. Look carefully at the picture and you’ll see that the white “tip” of Abbie’s tail is in fact paint. There was some debate as to how much help she really offered but it must have been a great deal for when asked about it Abbie was too tired to respond.
